This is the most highly price of Lp Tim Phra Kring. There are few kind created during year 2517; some are of longdam/copper with pong pai kuman inserted onto the base; some are longdam/copper without phong pai kuman and of different base like silver or copper. But all have temple chop and series number. There are Kring made of real gold also. Imprint mark are done using chisel and hammered. All longdam/copper are unpolished and have a very rough skin; but navaloha and gold base have smoother skin, because it gone thru retouch/polishing.
The reason gold base encrypt with no.5 is because of honouring King Chulalongkorn(King Rama 5), as I know, but some say not. Well maybe they can refer to LP Tim book for reference, I don't have one.
I once give this piece to a dealer here to compared his which is longdam/copper with no phong pai kuman(normal phim; the most number created); he told me that Lp Tim phra Kring shell all have rough surface because the process of concrete is done manually in the temple not like the kring nowadays done in the factory, cannot be smooth surfaces; He then see the temple chop on the base side wall and told me the imprint is not sharp, according to him shape shell be look like a tear drop. He have his point, so I decided to use a high microscopic scope up to x100 to see and consult some of my friend which has good knowledge in Lp Tim amulet.
Friend told me all longdam/copper are of rough surface and the creation is far much more than the navaloha with gold base(Image). The temple chop is done by people/temple helper using a chisel and hammered onto each piece of Phra Kring to create an imprint mark, so there are different from each one of them; but all shell have the same similarity that it must be sharp and the shape must look like tear drop/water drop. My friend asked me are you sure its not sharp like tear drop. I answer yes. He then told me to tiled 45 angle to see. Using the scope I tilted and look at the imprint mark again, only then I see the imprint sharply, the letter and lines like petal flower along the edge also can be seen. I actually used my lab scope in workplace. Now have take the image using a cheap bridge camera. Focus onto the skin and I found out its is not really 100% smooth, there are lightly rough. Phra kring made from copper/longdam is unpolished hence you can see the roughness on naked eyes without using a magnified glass.
